A DIGITAL SURROGATE :-

Can be any form of digital file. If it is an image it will be opened by Community Chest or Archangel. If it is any other formats eg. Video, PDF or sound file etc.  It will open in the associated program on your computer. 

LOCATION OF DIGITAL SURROGATE :-

This is the location of the digital file that is the surrogate for the Accession, its' Items, or its' parts of Items. The link box is the address of the file. This can be entered in directly or it is easier to browse to the file by clicking on the icon next to the box. to ensure that your have the link, click on the "eye" icon to confirm that the file opens.
